​Gretchen DeVries, Ph.D., is a senior patent agent in the New York office of Fish & Richardson P.C. Gretchen leverages her science background to help her clients build strong patent portfolios in a wide range of technology areas ranging from materials processing to medical devices to computing and data processing. She works closely with inventors at academic institutions and small and midsized companies to develop patent protection that aligns with both the technological innovation and the client’s business goals.
