Peter R. Poulin is a Principal in the Boston office of Fish & Richardson. His practice supports patent prosecution in a variety of areas including optics, lasers, electro-optical and thin-film devices and sensors, semiconductor fabrication and microlithography, and biological imaging and image analysis. His prosecution practice extends from the United States to most EU countries and major jurisdictions in Asia, and his clients include multinational corporations in the United States and Europe. He also has extensive experience in patent portfolio development and counseling for start-up and medium size companies, and in reexamination and interference proceedings before the USPTO. Dr. Poulin received his PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2005, where he studied high energy light-matter interactions in condensed phase media.
